Bonney Lake High School Drama & Choir presents Into the Woods
Stephen Sondheim’s musical is a cautionary tale about getting your heart’s desire. Familiar fairy tale characters such as Cinderella, her Prince, Little Red Riding Hood, and Rapunzel cross paths with unexpected results and contemplate what happens after the happily ever after! Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Cinderella and Rapunzel round out the circle of the central characters in this hit musical, sort of a fractured fairy tale from Broadway performed by Bonney Lake High School’s drama and choir students. Into The Woods pushes beyond the boundaries of what a musical can be. Bonney Lake High School has created a show that will prove to audiences that, as Little Red Riding Hood discovers, “though scary is exciting, nice is different than good.”
2 PM Sunday, April 17, 2011
Admission: $6 Students and Seniors; $10 Adults
Bonney Lake High School Drama is under the direction of Brenda Williams; Amy Fuller is the Choir Director.
Enjoy your sunny Sunday here in Bonney Lake.
